Me with Benton and Nicholas
Benton's dad took this photo - so funny because I remember tickling the boys and laughing and he managed to catch such a different memory with this image!!

Snuggles with Tara
We had friends from Boston visiting this weekend - our friend Ben from Colgate and his wife Tara. Nicholas just loved her! He passed out in her arms about 15 mins after meeting her.

A great first Mother's Day :-)
We went out for a fun sushi lunch, and Nicholas fell asleep while we ate. Later in the day Sam came over to hang, and he actually stayed after N went to bed so Kyle and I could go out to dinner!

Mom, I got this
N became fascinated with the spoon today. He kept grabbing for it and started fussing until I handed it to him.

First trip away...
I'm on a plane headed to Nashville to meet up with Alex and Chandler for the weekend (I still can't believe you can access internet on an airplane, by the way). Kyle suggested a few months ago that I plan a trip away, and at the time it sounded great - Nicholas would be almost 5 months old and I'd be really ready for some time away from him. But, of course, now the trip is here and I am feeling really sad and a little guilty and I'm really gonna miss my little guy (and big guy).
Anywho, the blog over the next few days will be less Nicholas and more Mom in Nashville! Here is a 6:30am view of Mt. Rainier over the engine of the plane. Spectacular.
