Cardigan Party!

We had brunch with Kyle's best friend from high school Matt this morning. Kyle and Matt have a running joke about v-neck cardigans so whenever we hang out with them, both he and kyle make sure to wear their cardigans. Well, Nicholas had to join in the fun! Mr. Rogers would be so proud.

A lifetime ago...or 4 months

I was looking back through old pics this am and couldn't believe how different N looks from the day he was born! Poor kiddo is a mess in these photos - but he was brave and did so well in the NICU ❤

4-month check up!

N now weighs 15.5 lbs (totally average), has a head bigger than 98% of babies his age, and has grown almost 7 inches since birth! He was all smiles until I warned him about the shots - then he was like wtf mom? Not cool.

Kyle and I had a beer last night after work and before our new parents' group. It was a rare sunny afternoon so we sat outside!

N's morning nap has finally started to make an appearance (I hope!) we've had a few mornings with 1.5 hr snooze around 8am. This morning he's been sleeping for 2.5 hrs so I had to come in and check on him. He's sleeping soundly and now I'm just sitting on the floor watching him :)

No, that is not spit up on the baby bjorn, it's pancake batter! Dad is already teaching Nicholas how to do Sunday morning breakfasts - I came downstairs and he was making pancakes while toting N around :-)
